Hello Lifectioners,
Its MONDAY - the opening day of the week.
OPTION-A: You had a super-lazy Sunday and had no mood of facing Monday!
OPTION-B: You stuffed yourself with determination and positivity; made few goals and was SUPER-READY for Monday!
OPTION-C: You labor a LOT this Sunday and had wished for another Sunday!
OPTION-D: You had a soothing, refreshing Sunday and have no personal issues with Monday!
You may fall under one of the options or a fusion of these!
Well, NO MATTER WHAT, MONDAY IS HERE .....
So, Why not begin it with some beautiful thoughts and SOS!
SOS - initially, this term was used via ships in distress or emergencies meaning *SAVE-OUR-SHIPS*
This term is now widely in use.
( we have SOS services in our mobile phones )
But the MOST appealing meaning of SOS is *SAVE-OUR-SOULS*!
BUT MY SOS...DOES NOT MEAN ANY OF THESE...
( it will save your soul through ^_^ )
S ~~ STAND BACK
O ~~ OBSERVE
S ~~ STEER
STAND BACK
- Pause your Brain and FOCUS on the decision you are going to make.
- Detach yourself from the situation.
- Be the *third* person.
- Imagine yourself as an ADVISER.
and during all this - "YOUR BRAIN IS YOUR PLAYGROUND AND YOUR THOUGHTS ARE YOUR PAWNS."
OBSERVE
Now that you see the situation as a third person ( detached from *me-my-myself* state )
- Start thinking about the situation
- Cover each and every aspect which runs through your mind
- DO NOT switch to *you* state.
- Ask yourself a simple modulated question - *WHAT NOT TO DO .........?
I always feel it is difficult to decide-WHAT TO DO
Perhaps, It's easier to answer - WHAT NOT TO DO?
OBSERVATION is the main source of solution.
`Lack of observation, means lack of precision
STEER
- Take the ACTION.
This activity seems longer and tricky but once you inculcate this habit of referring to your "SOS" sense
You will realize how QUICK and ACCURATE you can be !!!!
Let me build a very simple hypothetical situation ~
Disputes with a Relative ...
At some point of time, you fought with your friend/mom/dad or anyone near and dear to you.
Next time when in such situation ....turn your SOS ON
STAND BACK - Remove the anger, Remove the factor *me*, Remove the anxiety.
PAUSE!
OBSERVE - Observe the situation as a third person ( not as *you* ) . Try to understand the situation ( try to understand the other's parties point of view ..you know yours pretty well )
STEER- Act according to your *third-person* observation. If you feel you have a stronger point - Depict it clearly ! and if you feel you lack the gist - ACCEPT!
NEVER FAIL TO ACCEPT YOUR MISTAKES. BECAUSE NOT ACCEPTING YOUR MISTAKES IS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE.
Inspurational :-)
