Why can't we just stay Positive??

This time, I would like to hammer on point, though talking much about positivity,

Why can't we just stay Positive??

I don't understand the very fact , that we humans don't need anything bad to happen to us, yet we will not think positive towards it.
We want positive things to happen to us, but we've difficulty in being positive.
The lifestyle of individuals today have dipped towards being negative, or finding fault in something or the opposite . then they complain that optimism is shit.
Perhaps, giving examples to the present might help to know this thing better.

 Lemme explain it with a story-

Why can't we just stay Positive??
One day Edison came home and gave a paper to his mother. He told her, “My teacher gave this paper to me and told me to only provides it to my mother.” His mother’s eyes were tearful as she read the letter aloud to her child: Your son could also be a genius. This school is simply too small for him and doesn’t have enough good teachers for training him. Please teach him yourself. After many, a couple of years , after Edison’s mother died and he was now one of the simplest inventors of the century, at some point he was searching through old family things. Suddenly he saw a folded paper within the corner of a drawer during a desk. He took it and opened it up. On the paper was written: Your son is addled [mentally ill]. We won’t let him come to high school any more . Edison cried for hours then he wrote in his diary: “Thomas Alva Edison was an addled child that, by a hero mother, became the genius of the century.” 
Why can't we just stay Positive??
Had Edison's mother not stayed positive after the negative response from his school teacher, could he achieve all his achievements??
Or, had he been the Genius of the century.???
No, not.!! that's the facility to remain positive.
It would are that his mother would have taken things negatively. And, we'd have missed one of the Geniuses within the planet from developing, stopping his growth.
You see, by being negative, we stop our growth. And being negative about situations make the people around you to repel, as well. nobody loves a negative person.
The soul-deep inside craves for positivity and repels from negativity. But, nowadays, though we would like everything good to happen to us. But, we fail to remain positive. Perhaps we've made it a life-style.

Why can't we just stay Positive??
We want everything good to happen for us, but still we've numerous difficulties and problems in being positive. Why is it so..??
The possible answers are often Overthinking, Negative thought process, etc. etc. or another Xyz.

For example- If you're having an exam tomorrow, it becomes difficult for us to remain positive.
Or, if your friend fails to reply to you for a short time , rather than being positive, we start thinking of the negative reasons.
Or, it's that something bad happens to us, we fail to remain positive within the situation, and still trap ourselves deeper and deeper into negativity.

Let me explain it to you with another story-

Let me explain it to you with another story-
Birbal constantly asserted that everything happens for one's good. Emperor Akbar, who was young, was distrustful of Birbal's wisdom and questioned the minister's constant, optimistic assertion.

One day while handling a sword, the Emperor chopped off the tip of his pinkie . Birbal immediately told the Emperor to not worry, everything that happens features a purpose behind it which purpose is permanently . The Emperor became exceedingly angry with Birbal and threw him in jail. 

Why can't we just stay Positive??

The Emperor bandaged the little finger for few days and then as a diversion, went into the forest to hunt. He was later separated from his hunting party and eventually captured by a tribe of cannibals intending to make human sacrifice. The Emperor was bound like a sacrifice lamb and taken before the temple.When the temple priest examined him, the priest announced that he could not be sacrificed because he was not a perfect specimen,since the front portion of one finger was missing. As he was not fit to be sacrificed, the Emperor was released.

On his return, the Emperor thanked God for injuring his finger and thereby sparing his life then immediately went to the prison to meet Birbal.

"O, Birbal", please accept my apologies for imprisoning you. Now I understand how my injury was for the best. But tell me why did God allow me to imprison you? How is it for the best that you have been confines here due to my angry?

Birbal replied," Your Majesty, if I had not been in prison, you would surely have taken me with you when you went for hunting, and when the forest cannibals rejected you for their sacrifice, they would surely have found me an excellent substitute!"

Management Moral: It is helpful to see the good side of what appear to be bad events. It is a morale booster; it is also an aid to creativity, since it spurs you on to bounce back from ill fortune and get on optimistically with your life.

Belief in a higher power added to the belief that this power has our best interests in mind can help us feel more centred or better anchored whether in our personal lives or in a high responsible professional life.

Try doing these things for just a span of just 3 days, and see your life change.
Why can't we just stay Positive??1. Try staying positive in every situation you come across.
2. Disregard and ignore negative thoughts.
3. There is always something or other to be positive about in every situation, try to find it out, and even if you can't, try to divert your focus from negative thoughts to anything that pleases you.
4. Try not to speak negative about any person, as it will remove the stress and frustration, which are the biggest cause of negativity in people.
5. Try watching at least some motivational video for just 30 minutes on topic "POWER OF POSITIVITY" or "ILL EFFECTS OF NEGATIVITY" each day.

Some other tips-
6. Use only positive words while thinking and while talking. Use words such as, 'I can', "I am able', 'it is possible', 'it can be done', etc.
7. In your conversation, use words that bring forth feelings and mental images of strength, happiness and success.
8. Before starting with any plan or action, visualize clearly in your mind its successful outcome.
9. Read at least one page of inspiring book every day.
10. Watch movies that make you feel happy.
11. Associate yourself with people who thinks positively.
12. Walk, swim, or engage in some other physical activity. This helps to develop a more positive attittude,
13. Always sit and walk with you back straight. This will strengthen your confidence and inner strength.

 Continuing these exercises to 21 days, the minimum span of time required for a normal person to develop a habit. Also, if you want to make it a lifestyle, try doing it for 3 months.

You will start to feel the change✨.
