Taken for Granted

Hello Lifectioners ,

It's been 2 months since I posted. I would say it was nothing but -- 'Mental Lethargy'.

Mental Lethargy -  in my terms is a state where you are physically fit, you enjoy and talk normally, cherish all the emotions and moments but somewhere in your mind you feel a hole developing.

Like something is missing or something keeps bothering you all the time.

You may or may not know the reason why you feel so. And due to this you feel drained out - no new ideas, lack of enthusiasm etc.

But whatever might be the reason ( unable to complete a task, unable to perform well, being into situations you do not want to, being at the same place for a long period, lack of communication or maybe lack of solidarity ) the similarity is .....

ITS ALL IN YOUR MIND

DON'T TAKE YOURSELVES FOR GRANTED.

Get some fresh air, do something which you do not do on regular basis, do something 'Kick-ass', stop 'over-thinking' (most importantly) - this is no big omen; its OK! , change your place and stop bothering yourself. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜„

TAKEN FOR GRANTED

( Reverting to the topic )

Everything in this world which is good for our health have an unpleasant effect when consumed or done in excess.

like.

TAKEN FOR GRANTED
  FOOD
Tea and Coffee are good - they have antioxidants but when taken in excess they begin their negative effects. So with the Dry Fruits - they taste awesome and have awesome effects but excess is bad.

LOVE Its amazing to be loved by somebody. But excess of love can convert to - OBSESSION which lacks the positive vibes of love.

TAKEN FOR GRANTED
SLEEP
 - which is so important for repair and regeneration of our body, when taken in excess makes you even more lethargic and leaves you feeling lazy instead of active.

I think I covered the 3 important things in the life of any individual.

It's the same with following TWO ----
  1. EXPECTATIONS
  2. INFLUENCE

πŸ‘‰πŸ’›We always expect

And always long

For every prospect

There is a bling

With every aspect

There is cling

In a blight or a flight

In sadness or panic

WE EXPECT

From our dearer to our lover

Far our success

To our victory

We long!

It can be statutory

Or a bit Situatonary

But it proliferates

And sometimes can deteriorate πŸ’›πŸ‘ˆ

These are some beautiful lines written by my classmate ( Aman Yadav ) 😍

Expectations is a word which is quite mysterious.

It ain't bad but not good at the same time.

It has the same strategy - HARMS IN EXCESS.

TAKEN FOR GRANTED

Expectation can be categorized under 2 heads

  1. Expectations from OTHERS
  2. Expectations from OURSELVES.

Coming to the second category first...

'EXPECTATIONS from ourselves'----- It's good to keep goals and await results. But sometimes we mistake it with - 'expecting from ourselves'.

If we kept Goals, we would be happy when we accomplish. But if,

that was Expectation - We would never be happy of what we have done. ( because simply we expect more )

TAKEN FOR GRANTED

And the major problem we face...

 EXPECTATION FROM OTHERS

Expectation acts like a grey cloud over you. It does not let the sunshine reach you. ⛅

Even if the other person brings you a box full of chocolates, you feel unsatisfied, because you wanted the truck.

And since you feel unsatisfied, you wouldn't be able to PRAISE their efforts because again you expected MORE.

EXPECTATION and MORE generally go hand in hand,

and when they don't,

EXPECTATION accompany SOMETHING DIFFERENT

   ( you didn't want a box of chocolates..you want video games! A box full of video-games )

The notion is simple - KEEP YOURSELF FREE FROM EXPECTATION. DO NOT EXPECT

and the SOLUTION ...

For yourself - keep Goals and Believe in others; Do not expect from them.

TAKEN FOR GRANTED

and the moment you understand and inculcate this in your life you will enjoy satisfaction.

And the moment you feel satisfied - you feel GAY.

( no mental lethargy, perhaps ! ❤ )

I will focus on INFLUENCE in my upcoming blog.
