IT'S TIME TO EMPTY YOUR CUP

Life isn't black and white, there's a really large gray area also . When we are being negative we tend to think things are ‘all or nothing’ and ‘this or that,’ but that just isn’t the case. We either think things are getting to be perfect or a disaster, we never see the reminder grey between these two extremes.

When we are during a relationship, if we are being overly positive, we expect it's getting to be perfect. When we are being negative we expect it's getting to end in total heartache. However, there's a more realistic gray area between these two. If we are thinking realistically, we might see that sometimes the connection are going to be fantastic, sometimes just good and other times not so good, a bit like every other relationship.
IT'S TIME TO EMPTY YOUR CUP
When people make mistakes we tell them it doesn’t matter and it's no problem. Yet, once we make an equivalent mistake we are very harsh and unforgiving. We tell ourselves that we are stupid and we are always making mistakes. This is not only negative but also destructive. You need to befriend and have compassion for yourself. You have to know that you simply are human then are susceptible to make mistakes from time to time. When you make an error just acknowledge it, learn from it and advance .
IT'S TIME TO EMPTY YOUR CUP

I was recently reading a zen story which i'm pretty sure you'll like it ....so the tale goes-
Nan-in, a Japanese master during the Meiji era (1868-1912), received a university professor who came to inquire about Zen.
Nan-in served tea. He poured his visitor’s cup full then kept on pouring. The professor watched the overflow until he not could restrain himself. “It is overfull. No more will go in!”

“Like this cup,” Nan-in said, “you are filled with your own opinions and speculations. How am i able to show you Zen unless you initially empty your cup?"

So emptying the cup from all kinds of judgements, opinions and stereotypes will only assist you cleanse your life during a far better way...think about how long have you ever been overflowing your cup? :)

  3. You advocate realistic thinking. However, there are multiple realities (reality is relative) so how do we arrive at aduality.
